こんにちは！私の名前はエイプリル・ジョイ・バルトロメ・グラナダですが、ジョイと呼んでください。
私はフィリピンのイロイロ州出身です。イロイロ州は美しいビーチで有名な州です。もしあなたがウォータースポーツや新鮮なシーフードが好きなら、私の故郷であるイロイロ州のカルレスにぜひお越しください。
私の海外での教職キャリアは2019年にタイで始まりました。そこで約5年間、外国語教師として働きました。
中学校の生徒に英語コミュニケーションを教え、放課後には幼稚園児から小学生までの子どもたちにも教えていました。
これらの経験を通して、私は教えることへの強い情熱と、言語の壁があっても生徒たちが英語で自己表現できるよう支援することへの深いやりがいを感じるようになりました。
2024年、私は日本で新たな機会を追求することを決意しました。これは、プロとしての成長と、幼い頃からアニメや映画を通して憧れてきた日本文化を体験するという長年の夢を実現するためです。
私は常に向上心を持ち、より大きな目標を達成するために努力を惜しまない人間です。日本でALT（外国語指導助手）と英会話教師として働くことは、非常にやりがいがあり、刺激的な経験となっています。
日本の教育システムには大変感銘を受けており、スキルアップ、プロとしての成長、そして生徒たちの学習に貢献できる機会を与えてくれたことに感謝しています。夢を叶えながら英語を教えることは、私にとって最高の喜びです。
常に新しいことを学び続けることを厭わない私から、皆さんに一つアドバイスをさせてください。
それは、「自分自身を信じ続け、より良い自分を目指して努力し、目標を達成するまで学び続けること」です。

Hi there!
My name is April Joy Bartolome Granada, but you can call me Joy.
I am from Iloilo in the Philippines, a province known for its beautiful beaches. If you enjoy water activities and fresh seafood, I invite you tovisit my hometown in Iloilo, which is Carles.
My teaching career abroad began in 2019 in Thailand, where I worked for nearly five years as a foreign language teacher. I taught English communication to junior high school students, and after school, I also taught younger learners from kindergarten to elementary. Through these experiences, I developed a strong passion for teaching and a deep appreciation for helping students express themselves in English despite language barriers.
In 2024, I decided to pursue a new opportunity in Japan, motivated by both professional growth and my lifelong dream of experiencing Japanese culture, which I had admired since childhood through anime and films.
I am a person who always strives for more and makes extra effort to achieve greater goals. Working in Japan as an Assistant Language Teacher (ALT) and an Eikaiwa teacher has been both rewarding and inspiring. I greatly admire Japan’s educational system, and I am grateful for the opportunities it has given me to improve my skills, grow professionally, and contribute to students’ learning. Teaching English while living my dream has been the best feeling I could ever have.
As a woman who never gets tired of learning new things, one piece of advice I can give you is this: never stop believing in yourself, keep striving to do better, and continue learning until you achieve your language goals. Let’s achieve your language goals together! I’ll see you around!
