こんにちは、イジ―です。
私はロンドンとオックスフォードの間にあるスウィンドンというイギリスの町の出身です。ここは主に、私の家族が何世代にもわたって働いていた大規模な蒸気機関車の工場で知られています。私は家族の中でイギリス以外の他の国に住む初めての人です。
2024年3月に日本に移住し、そのまま松本に来ました。私は松本が大好きなので、このエリアのアクティビティやレストランのおすすめを知りたいです。アウトドアが大好きなので、街をもっと探索するのが待ちきれません。
私は大学で映画とテレビを学び、この分野で修士号を取得しました。日本映画は私の情熱です。私はジブリ映画を観て育ちましたが、今では黒澤監督や小津監督の古典映画、または是枝監督や浜口監督の現代映画を観るのが好きです。
日本のロックやポップミュージック、少女マンガの大ファンでもあります。映画、漫画、音楽について気軽に話してください！

Hi, I’m Issy. I’m from a town in the UK between London and Oxford called Swindon. It’s mostly known for its large steam train factories where my family worked for many generations. I’m the first member of my family to ever live in another country.
I moved to Japan in March 2024 and came straight to Matsumoto. I love it here and would love recommendations for activities or restaurants in the area. I love the outdoors and can’t wait to explore the city more.
I studied Film and Television at University and have a Master’s Degree in the subject. Japanese cinema is my passion. I grew up watching Ghibli movies but now I like to watch classics from Kurosawa and Ozu or contemporary cinema from Kore-eda and Hamaguchi. I’m also a big fan of Japanese rock and pop music, and shōjo manga. Please chat with me about movies, manga and music! I’d love to learn about Japanese pop culture from you!
