新しい一歩、新しいJourneyがはじまる
こんにちは！
私の名前はアイリス・マリー・パインズです。
私はフィリピンのルソン島カラバルソン地方に位置するケソン州出身です。ケソン州は、ココナッツや田んぼが豊富で、巨大な島々や険しい山々があることで知られています。
高校時代、読書に興味を持ち、文学に興味を持ったことがきっかけで、教育学部の学位取得を目指し、英語を専攻しました。
卒業後はESLインストラクターとして3年間、中国、台湾、韓国のさまざまな国籍の子どもたちを教えました。自分の知識を生徒たちに伝え、国際競争力のある人間に成長させることができるのは、とても充実感のあることです。
2022年10月、大好きな日本で日本語を勉強し、自分の夢を追いかけるために日本にやってきました。長野に住むことを選んだのは、大きくて混雑した都会に住むのに慣れていないからです。長野県は、自然が好きな私にとって完璧な場所であり、私が育った場所と似ているため、心が落ち着くのです。
私の人生における多くのターニングポイントのひとつが、日本への移住でした。この旅から、まだ経験したことのない多くの冒険をすることを楽しみにしています。
Hello!
My name is Iris Marie Pines. I'm from Quezon, a province in the Philippines located in the Calabarzon region of Luzon. My province is rich in coconut plantations and rice farms and is known for its quiant islands and rugged mountains.
In high school, I developed an interest in reading and got really curious about literature which inspired me to choose English as my major when I decided to pursue a degree in education.
I taught kids of various nationalities from China, Taiwan, and Korea for three years as an ESL instructor after I graduated. Being able to impart my knowledge to my students and help them develop into globally competitive people is a very satisfying feeling.
In October 2022, I came to Japan to study Japanese and pursue my dream in my favorite country. I chose to live in Nagano because I'm not used to living in a big and crowded city. Nagano Prefecture is a perfect place for me because I love nature and it is similar to where I grew up, it makes me feel at home.
One of the many turning points in my life was moving to Japan. I look forward to many more adventures from this journey that I have yet to experience.
